
Chris agreed in the spring to be part of the Vital Church Initiative Implementation Team. He brings over a year of specific preparation for developing vital church ministries. In addition, Chris works with worship design and development for Brighton First.
Chris spends most of his time teaching the social sciences at Baker College of Owosso, where he has been on the faculty since 2004. Before coming to Brighton, Chris lived in Ann Arbor, Chesaning and Los Angeles. Chris has a Ph.D. from UCLA in Anthropology; specializing in the archaeology of Peru. In addition to Peru, he has done archaeology in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua as well as Michigan and Ohio.
Chris has a real passion for cooking, and enjoys taking an after-dinner walk with his wife Gwynne, and daughter Anna. Sometimes Nausicaa the cat comes along, but usually she has better things to do.
