Members of Brighton First Attend Reach Summit

Members of Brighton First will attend a training seminar on October 16-17 at the Lansing Conference Center. The Reach Summit, is a training hosted by the Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church. The goal of the event is to equipping local churches to reach more people in the name of Jesus Christ.

Along with keynote speakers, there are break out sessions about reaching out in powerful ways. Session topics include: Starting a new worship in an existing church, Taking the church out into the community, Moving people from first-time guests to fully committed members, and reaching youth. 

Many of these topics are part of Brighton First's Vital Church Initiative work. Leaders from the church will join with over 300 other church leaders to equip the church for powerful ministry.
