Just Walk Across the Room - Upcoming Study and Worship Series

Brighton First will be introduced to Bill Hybels book and study series, Just Walk Across the Room: Smple Steps Pointing People to Faith, beginning Sunday, October 25. The four weeks class and worship series will encourage church members to consider their own faith story and how they can share it with others.

Bill Hybels once heard the story of a man who came to faith in Jesus Christ because a Christian man walked across the room to meet him and became his friend. Hybels suggests that as faithful people who have a story too important not to share and that the Holy Spirit leads us to encounters with strangers and friends that give us the opportunity to share.

This worship series, along with others that Brighton First will experience in the coming months, will equip church members to be outwardly focused in mission and outreach in the name of Jesus Christ. This practice will not only change the lives of the people we share with, it will change ours. We are called to make disciples for Jesus Christ. In the practice of following God's guide, we become stronger disciples ourselves.
